The micropipette is a precise instrument for measuring the volume of 0.1uL ~ 10 ml liquid, which is used together with pipette tips. It is an essential tool for sample collection and removal in biological, chemical, and clinical experiments. So what should we pay attention to when using micropipette?
1. Before use, pay attention to check whether there is leakage.
2. Do not use a pipette with a large range to remove the small volume of liquid, but choose a suitable measuring range to avoid affecting the accuracy.

3. When pipetting, the pipette itself should not tilt and should suck vertically and slowly.
4. When assembling the suction head, choose the suction head that matches the pipette; The force should be moderate. Excessive force will make it difficult to remove the suction head.
5. The pipette with the residual liquid suction head should be hung on the pipette rack, and cannot be placed flat.
6. Don’t press the second gear to suck liquid directly, but press the first gear to vertically enter the liquid level for a few millimeters to suck liquid.
7. Do not use acetone or highly corrosive liquid to clean pipettes.

How to clean and maintain our pipettes daily?
1. Clean pipettes regularly, wipe the handles, catapults, and the outside of white sleeves with alcohol cotton, and reduce the possibility of pollution to samples.
2. It is forbidden to use an air cushion piston pipette to absorb highly volatile and corrosive liquids (such as concentrated acid, concentrated alkali, organic matter, etc.). After absorbing highly volatile and corrosive liquid, the whole pipette should be disassembled, the piston rod and the inner wall of the white sleeve should be washed with distilled water, and installed and used after drying.
3. It is strictly prohibited to blow and mix the liquid with a pipette.

4. The set range is within the range of the pipette. Do not turn the button out of the range, or the mechanical device will be stuck and the pipette will be damaged.
5. Pipette with liquid should not be placed flat, otherwise the liquid in the gun head will easily pollute the inside of the gun, which may cause the spring of the gun to rust.
6. After each experiment, the pipette scale should be adjusted to the maximum, and the spring should return to the prototype to prolong the service life of the pipette.
